Policies and Terms
 
 This page states the terms and policies of training and sales transactions for Scuba Training + Techlology Co. as of January 2000, and are subject to change. All Policies and Terms in effect at the time of course enrollment, reservation, contract or transaction will supercede all previous terms unless other such terms are in place by individual contract. Customer agrees to all terms set forth whether read or not unless disputed within 90 days prior to training, charter, or travel date.
 

1. Student agrees that training is purchased and certification is earned. All efforts are made to ensure that the student can complete a certification program, but there are situations which make issuing certification not in the best insterests of the safety of the student. In such situation the student may be required to complete remeidal work, and or additional dives.  No additional course fees will be charged, but the student will need to cover boat, air/gas fees, and other consumables. 
2. Student Examinations student agrees that minimum passing score for all examinations is 80%. (this is higher than the respective training agency minimums, but never the less they are a minimum we require. A student will be allowed to take a make up examination within 30 days, in most cases within 24 hours. Make up examinations require a 90% final score. 
 
3. Deposits. 50% deposit is due upon enrollment. Full course fees are due within 45 days of course start dates. With the exception of some programs which require 90 day advance payment. 
4. Course Refunds. Course Fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.  Most courses are limited to student enrollment, as such all course fees are non-refundable within 30 days of course start date. Students unable to attend a course have two options. 1. Fill thier spot with a qualified substitute (at our discretion) or 2. Attend another course we have scheduled within the same calendar year. 
5. Group Enrollment. When one party reserves a course for a group of people that person is solely responsible for the entire fees for the course. All course fees are due in full 60 days prior to the start of the course. A 50% cancellation fee will apply to programs canceled within 45 days of commencement.
